Sohrab starting to hate his nephew in ‘A Mother's Sacrifices’

Sohrab is starting to hate his nephew, Ashkan, in iFilm English TV’s ‘A Mother's Sacrifices’.

“I hate anyone who hurts you. Don’t get offended brother. I’m starting to hate your son, Ashkan,” Sohrab tells Khalil when he sees that his nephew is causing troubles for his beloved brother.

But Khalil is a father anyway. He doesn’t appreciate his brother’s attitudes towards his son, even if it is all out of pure brotherly affections.

“You know what I thank God for every night before bed? I thank Him because I know that if I don’t wake up the next morning, my brother Sohrab will be there for Ashkan and will take care of him just like I did,” Khalil says in response.

‘A Mother's Sacrifices’, produced by Zeinab Taqvaee and directed by Behrang Tofiqi, tells a story about the true meaning of forgiveness.

Ateneh abandoned her infant and left him to be raised by his father, Khalil. But, as tragedy hits their family, everything changes.

When she shows up after twenty years and does anything she can to be forgiven, Khalil just can’t find it in his heart to do it.
