Paying tribute to martyrs of the recent terrorist blasts in Iran’s Kerman Province, Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) has started airing ‘Terror’ mini-series.

The eight-episode series, produced by Mojtaba Amini and directed by Kheirollah Taqianipour, is about the terror attack by the US on Iran’s legendary anti-terror commander, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani in January 2020.

Cast list of the new series includes Farhad Qaemian, Anoush Moazzami, Jafar Dehqan, Ramin Rastad, Mehdi Solouki, Afshin Sangchap, Hedayat Hashemi, Mohammad-Hossein Latifi, Nanet Tomeh and Shahram Ebrahimi.

The mini-series, filmed in several locations in Tehran, Kerman, and Turkey, is one of the major filmmaking projects on the subject.

It has been written by Arash Qaderi, the successful writer of iFilm’s popular action series ‘Gando’ and celebrated Iranian director Mohammad-Hossein Latifi has played one of the main roles.

Martyr Soleimani is highly respected for his pivotal role in combating the US-created and Israeli-supported Daesh Takfiri terrorist group in Iraq and Syria.

Two terrorist blasts in Iran’s Kerman Province have claimed the lives of more than 90 people.

The explosions took place on Wednesday in close proximity to the burial site of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, where people had gathered to commemorate his fourth martyrdom anniversary.
