Iran’s cultural attache in Bangladesh welcomes iFilm amidst Dhaka filmfest

Sayyed Reza Mir Mohammadi, the cultural attache of the Iranian Embassy in Dhaka, has extended warm greetings to the audience.

The cultural attache of the Iranian Embassy in Dhaka has extended warm greetings to the audience as he shares updates on the collaboration between iFilm TV Channel and Bangladeshi TV networks.

In a video message, Sayyed Reza Mir Mohammadi said, "The cultural exchange between Iran and Bangladesh is flourishing, and we are thrilled to host the esteemed delegation from iFilm during the Dhaka International Film Festival."

The cultural attache of Iran's embassy is currently playing host to a delegation from iFilm TV, led by the channel's CEO Morteza Shamsi, accompanied by some of his colleagues, including the English TV channel's manager Fatemeh Javahersaz.

“The iFilm team is actively participating in various capacities, serving as both festival attendees and members of the jury across different sections,” said Mir Mohammadi.

Notably, Fatemeh Javahersaz, the film market manager of Iran’s Fajr Int'l Film Festival and director of iFilm English TV Channel, serves as a member of the jury panel for the 22nd Dhaka Int'l Film Festival (DIFF).

In addition to their festival responsibilities, Shamsi and his team have been scheduling meetings with directors from prominent TV cable networks in Bangladesh. The objective is to initiate discussions and negotiations for potential collaborations in both the cinematic and television spheres.

Already having concluded a meeting, the team looks forward to additional engagements in the coming days.
