iFilm English TV to offer ‘Sweet Spring’

iFilm English TV’s feature film ‘Sweet Spring’ has been scheduled to go on air on February 3, 2024.

The movie, produced by Hassan Tavakkol-Nia and directed by Ali Tavakkol-Nia, follows the story of the generation gap between the young people before the Islamic Revolution in Iran and the young people after it.

Written by Soheila Rajabi, it tells the stories of a family during the year that the Islamic Revolution took place in Tehran and Kashan. 

Members of the cast list are Bita Saharkhiz, Akram Mohammadi, Mohammad Afshar, Arash Taaj, and Parvin Maleki.

The movie was nominated in seven categories at the 32nd edition of the Fajr Film Festival in Iran and received the audience choice award. In addition, Zarei won the award for the best actress.

‘Sweet Spring’, made in 2008, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00.
