True love elevates in ‘Vafa’: iFilm cut

iFilm English TV channel’s official website is to dedicate the next episode of ‘Vafa’ to Imam Hussain (AS) in honor of his birth anniversary.

In tonight’s episode of the show, Joobin's love and admiration for Vafa leads him on a path to embrace an unearthly affection towards the third Shia Imam, Imam Hussain (AS).

Joobin is madly in love with a young Muslim girl. The fact that the two could not marry due to their different religions made him wish to convert to Islam.

Now, he has many reasons to embrace Islam, despite a less-than-ideal start.

Directed by Mohammad-Hossein Latifi, the series airs every evening at 23:00 GMT. Each episode of the show also repeats the next day at 05:00, 11:00, and 17:00.

Joobin has spent two years in an Iranian prison for a crime he says he didn't commit.

When some mysterious people get him out of prison, all he wants is to go to Lebanon to see his love, Vafa, whom he left two years ago.

A detective named Mohsen Khavari is following Joobin and goes to Beirut to bring him to justice. Joobin soon realizes that his uncle and deceased father had helped him escape and were spies for Israel. Now, he is involved in an espionage game as it becomes clear the Israelis are just using him to reach their real target, which is assassinating Vafa's brother.

The cast list of 'Vafa' includes Hanieh Tavassoli, Farhad Aslani, Pouriya Poursorkh, Farhad Qaemian, Mohammad-Reza Iranmanesh, and Mohsen Qazi-Moradi.
