A photo exhibition in Iran has been showcasing Syrian people in the post-war era.
The exhibition titled ‘Return: Photos of Life After the War in Syria’ kicked off on Sunday at the Iran Photographers Gallery No. 2, located in Tehran's Art Bureau.
The showcase, which comprises 49 images captured by five Iranian photographers, depicts a wide range of emotions experienced by Syrian citizens in the post-war era.
Featured in the exhibit are snapshots of young people playing in war-ravaged neighborhoods, representing the resilient spirit of the Syrian people.
Amir Rostami, a photographer whose works are on display in the exhibition, shared his experiences of traveling to Syria twice in 2018 and 2019. He captured Syrians' deep connection to their homeland.
The exhibition runs until May 16, inviting visitors to contemplate the resilience and humanity captured in each frame.
