Following outstanding performance of Tehran Symphony Orchestra in Italy, Iran local media publishes photos of impressive event.

Earlier in July, Tehran Symphony Orchestra performed well in Italy, with European country’s widely-known conductor Riccardo Muti in attendance.

This comes before a joint performance of an Italian ensemble with Tehran symphony orchestra entitled 'The Roads of Friendship'

The July 8 performance at Italian Ravenna Festival was attended by Iranian maestro Riccardo Muti who conducted the ensemble in Iran.

A large number of audience members were gathered at the event and captured by the virtuosity of Iranian artists to the extent that their ovation at the end of the concert took more than ten minutes.

Besides Italian pieces, the national anthem for Islamic Republic of Iran was performed at the event.  

Shardad Rohani, the conductor of the orchestra, was quoted by the media as saying that the historic presence of Muti is a turning point in Tehran Symphony Orchestra’s activities.
