1. 'Salman the Persian' to debut in 2026

The epic historical series 'Salman the Persian' is currently undergoing the editing phase. Salman al-Farisi, also known as Salman Farsi, was a Persian religious scholar and one of the companions of Prophet Muhammad [PBUH].

During his recent visit to the series set, head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Peyman Jebelli expressed confidence in the series, emphasizing its historical significance.

Director Davoud Mirbaqeri anticipates the series to debut in 2026, highlighting the meticulous attention to details in capturing pivotal moments, such as Salman's birthday.

2. 'Spinning Wheel' to air season 2

Returning to channel 2 of IRIB, this 90-episode satire directed by Javad Mazdabadi continues the tale of two business rivals portrayed by Alireza Khamseh and Hamid Lolaee.

Producer Saeed Moradi confirms the return of the main cast for the second season, promising a continuation of the comedic charm in the series.

3. Shooting for 'Sujan's Mother' in progress

Set against the backdrop of Gilan and old Tehran, this series spans generations, focusing on the resilient spirit of Iranian women and the importance of family.

With a storyline narrating from 1931 to 1978, the series sheds light on pivotal moments in history of Iran and Gilan Province, centered on the life of protagonist Sujan.

Filming for the 60-episode series is ongoing with a popular cast list, including Sorayya Qassemi and Ghazal Akrami.

4. 'The Stranger' starts production phase

Directed by Soroush Mohammadzadeh, the series delves into the world of pharmaceutical elites, with actors Pejman Bazeghi, Esmaeel Mehrabi, and Hamid Goudarzi leading the cast.

Filmed in Turkey, the series follows Mostafa, a pharmaceutical executive whose life takes a mysterious turn when he starts to believe that his late wife may be alive!

Mohammadzadeh, known for his previous works such as 'Soran' and 'Playmate’, promises a narrative filled with suspense and intrigue.
