Jury announced for 2nd Sobh Int’l Media Festival

The 2nd Sobh International Media Festival has officially announced its jury panel.

According to the public relations office of the festival, the following individuals will judge the entries across various categories:

News Section: Hassan Abedini, Seyyed-Mahmoud Mousavi-Bojnourdi, and Hassan Beheshtipour.

Written Content for Palestine: Hassan Olleik, Mostafa Khosh-Cheshm, and Sajed Zobeidi.

Illustration: Hawraa Khalifeh, Mohammad-Reza Doust-Mohammadi, and Mohammad-Hossein Niroumand.

Motion Graphics and Short Animation: Sergei Strusovskii, Hadi Mohammadian, and Amir-Reza Mafi.

Social Networks, Website, Vlog, and Music Video: Gholam-Reza Nouri, Karim Dennis, and Louis Allday.

Radio and Podcast: Valiollah Gharaghani, Siamak Kakaee, Mohammad-Reza Khatibian, Sohrab Nalbandi, and Gholam-Reza Ebrahimabadi.

TV Program and Short Film: Ehsan Kaveh, Mostapha Wehbi, and Hussain Hamid.

Documentary: Sean Murray, Igor Lopatonok, and Mohsen Barmahani.

The festival will be organized into three sections: Main, IRIB World Service, and Palestine Special.

The Sobh International Media Festival, established in Iran in 2023 by the IRIB World Service, serves as a platform for introducing a diverse array of television producers.

It also provides both local and international artists with an opportunity to showcase their talents, fostering positive interactions and cultural transformations.

According to official website of the event, the primary objective of this festival is to promote artistic creativity and build a global media platform.

International filmmakers, producers, and content creators have been invited to participate in the event.

The festival will take place on May 19-21, 2024 under the direction of Mohsen Yazdi.
