1. ‘Intoxicated by Love’ dominates; ‘Bloody Crocodile’, ‘Year of the Cat’ in close pursuit

Box office reports reveal that ‘Intoxicated by Love’ continues to lead, drawing approximately 400,000 viewers so far and achieving weekly sales of 21.4 billion Tomans.

‘Bloody Crocodile’ maintains its second position in the weekly sales chart, with a smaller gap from ‘Intoxicated by Love’ compared to the previous week.

Meanwhile, ‘Year of the Cat’ has entered into a tight competition with ‘Bloody Crocodile,’ garnering sales of 7.5 billion Tomans.

2. Nationwide release of ‘Qolhak’

The comedy movie ‘Qolhak’, directed and produced by Mostafa Shayesteh, has been released in cinemas nationwide as of Wednesday May 26.

The film features an ensemble cast, including Gohar Kheirandish, Hadi Kazemi, Nima Shabannejad, Ali Ostadi, Nasrin Nosrati, Yaser Jafari, and Roya Vahdati.

3. ‘After Being in Love’: Mohammad Ali Safoura’s debut feature ready for screening

The film ‘After Being in Love’, the debut feature of Mohammad Ali Safoura, is ready for screening.

The road film, centered on the theme of love, is dedicated to the late Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami.

4. ‘Iliya, Search of Hero’ climbs to 4th place in box office

Directed by Seyyed Ali Mousavinejad, ‘Iliya, Search of Hero’ has surpassed ‘Projectionist’ to claim the fourth spot among best-selling movies, achieving 6 billion Tomans in sales.

According to IRNA’s cultural group, the film has attracted some 115,000 viewers, contributing to its box office success.
