iFilm English TV to reveal ‘Top Secret’ series

iFilm English TV Channel’s action series ‘Top Secret’ has been scheduled to go on air from Thursday.

Airing of the series, produced by Habibollah Kasehsaz and directed by Mehdi Fakhimzadeh, will start on May 23, 2024.

‘Top Secret’ is a police story. Colonel Naderi and Colonel Nasrollahi are two veteran police officers in charge of the Drug Enforcement Agency. They are trying to solve a major drug case revolving around a stash of 60 kilos of crystal-meth hidden somewhere by the famous drug kingpin, Majid Bastan, but all their efforts so far have been to no avail.

In the meantime, Colonel Naderi starts receiving reports about extortion, coercion and blackmail by none other than his old friend, Colonel Nasrollahi. Little by little, clues start popping up, connecting these two seemingly unrelated matters.

The series cast list includes Fariba Kosari, Habib Dehqan-Nasab, Shaqayeq Farahani, Mohammad Sadeqi, Ramin Rastad, Amir-Mohammad Zand, Biouk Mirzaee, Mehdi Kasehsaz, Golnaz Khalesi, Hamid Qolikhani, Rana Qeysarnejad, Mehdi Mahmoudinejad, Hakimeh Vesaqati, and the director.

‘Top Secret’, made in 2014, will replace the series ‘Matador’, to be aired daily at 19:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 03:00, 08:00 and 14:00. The series comes in 14 episodes.
