Mehran Modiri returns with ‘Which Hand Is It In?’

Iranian VOD platforms are set to feature a new game show titled ‘Which Hand Is It In?’, hosted by the renowned actor/ director Mehran Madiri.

Produced by Ali Asadzadeh, the game involves teams competing in intense elimination rounds.

Each team of three must guess their opponent’s moves to earn points in a unique “goal or blank” format.

The show’s set design, inspired by traditional Iranian coffee houses, adds a cultural touch to it.

The exact release date is yet to be announced, but viewers can expect it soon.

New children's series 'Lullaby' coming to VOD

Iranian TV presenter and producer Darioush Farziaee known with his artistic name Amou Pourang and Amir-Mohammad Mottaqian are set to star in a new children's series titled ‘Lullaby’.

Directed by Ahmed Darvish Alipour and produced by Pejman Lashgaripour, this series will bring together familiar faces from children's television alongside fresh talents.

‘Lullaby’ aims to offer engaging and unique stories for children and teenagers.

The series will be available on Iranian VOD platforms soon.

'Dolphin Boy' series released  

Following the success of the ‘Dolphin Boy’ movie, a new animated series spin-off is now available on VOD platforms.

Each episode focuses on different characters from the original movie.

The series premiered on March 16, 2024, with new episodes released every Saturday.

Each of the 26 episodes is approximately eleven minutes long, making for a fast-paced viewing experience.

Writing begins for 'Chain' series

Shahram Asadzadeh has begun scripting and casting for the upcoming 15-episode series ‘Chain’.

The series revolves around a mysterious explosion and the intertwined fates of several characters.

Asadzadeh, who is also directing the series, plans to start production immediately after finalizing the script and casting.

This will be Asadzadeh’s debut series project, following his upcoming movie ‘Campaign’.

‘Chain’ is expected to span three seasons of 15 episodes each.

New cast for 'One Way Ticket' series announced

The mystery police drama 'One Way Ticket' has expanded its cast to include Turkish actors Erkan Petekkaya, İlhan Şen, and Erza Ramuka, alongside Iranian talents Hamed Komeili and Behzad Khalaj, and Iraqi actress Zahra Sami.

Filming is taking place in Tehran and Turkey, featuring additional actors Ali Shademan, Mehrdad Seddiqian, and Fereshteh Marashi.

The series, directed and produced by Pouriya Heydari-Oure, is slated for release in four months.
