iFilm English TV to air ‘Scent of Joseph’

iFilm English TV Channel has scheduled to air the movie ‘Scent of Joseph’ on Saturday.

Written and directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia, the movie is about Joseph who has left his hometown to defend Iran against Saddam Hussein’s imposed war.

He is missing for five years. Everyone assumes Joseph is dead – everyone except his father who is still clinging to the hope that his beloved son is alive.

Uncle Qafour who still looks forward to meeting his son again, gets to know a girl who is also searching for his long-missing brother in the war.

Now the war is over and all the prisoners are coming back home, but will the missing be among them?

The cast list of the film includes Jafar Dehqan, Niki Karimi, Ali Nasiriyan, Shirin Bina, Qassem Zare, Hassan Pour-Shirazi, and the director.

‘Scent of Joseph’, made in 1995, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00.
