iFilm English TV to air ‘The Underwater Cypress’

iFilm English TV’s movie ‘The Underwater Cypress’ has been scheduled to be aired on Saturday.

Produced by Seyyed-Hamed Hosseini and directed by Mohammad-Ali Bashe-Ahangar, the movie tells the story of a group of Iranian minorities who were among the country's unknown martyrs.

Jahanbakhsh Keramat is hiding a secret that, if revealed, will cause certain people many sleepless nights.

To prove his innocence and restore peace, Jahanbakhsh embarks on a long journey that will change their destinies.

Also written by Bashe-Ahangar, the film features actors such as Homayoun Ershadi, Babak Hamidiyan, Masoud Rayegan, Reza Behboudi, Mina Sadati, Houman Barqnavard, Setareh Eskandari, Farrokh Nemati, and Shahram Haqiqatdoust.

In addition to Iran, it has gone on screen in many countries, including Lebanon, Switzerland, Bulgaria, South Africa, and Turkey.

‘The Underwater Cypress’, made in 2017, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV repeats the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00.
