More than 620 entries registered for Iran's Int’l Sports fest

The secretary of the 14th Iran International Sports Film Festival has announced the registration of works from 72 countries for this year's edition.

According to IRNA, the director of the festival Seyyed Mojtaba Alavi stated that more than 620 films from 72 countries have been registered for this edition of the event.

The review process for the submissions has begun and the festival jury will be announced after the work by the selection committee.

Alavi further explained that this year’s festival has received more than 250 submissions from Iran and 370 submissions from other countries in various categories.

The Iran International Sports Film Festival is the exclusive representative of the Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs (FICTS).

Set to take place this fall, the 14th edition of the Iranian gala is supported by the National Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the National Paralympic Committee, Tehran Municipality, Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), and the Cinema Organization of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
