‘Sheepy, the Hero’ heads to Turkey after success in Iran

Following a record-breaking debut in Iran, the animated film ‘Sheepy, the Hero’ is set to be screened in 173 cinema halls in 45 cities in Turkey, including Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir.

Co-directed by Hossein Safarzadegan and Meysam Hosseini, ‘Sheepy, the Hero’ has quickly become a hit, especially among young audiences, with its inspiring message of perseverance and belief in the power of determination.

Prior to its Turkish release, the animated film was screened in Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, where it received a warm reception from audiences.

The animated film has also set a new record for opening weekend sales in Iran's children's cinema by earning nearly six billion tomans (approximately $100,000) in its first three days.

Produced by Owj Arts and Media Organization, in collaboration with Qabe Roya Institute and supported by Raymon Media, ‘Sheepy, the Hero’ is made using 3D animation techniques.
