‘Nosrat Secret Camp’ series nearing completion

The TV series ‘Nosrat Secret Camp’, which chronicles the life of the prominent martyred Iranian commander Ali Hashemi, is in the final stages of production.

According to the producer Mojtaba Faravardeh, its pre-production began in 2023, with the crew spending several months in the south of Iran before relocating to the outskirts of Tehran.

The team plans another trip to the south before wrapping up production, aiming to complete filming by fall.

In his interview with Tasnim, Reza Sameri, the actor portraying martyr Hashemi, expressed his pride in taking on the role, sharing that he studied Hashemi's life, watched documentaries, and read several books about him to better embody the character.

In addition to the series, a cinematic version of ‘Nosrat Secret Camp’ is also in development.

The movie, penned by Mehdi Sajjadechi and being directed by Mehdi Jafari, is a production of the Surah Series Center.

The head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Peyman Jebelli, who previously visited the series' set at the Sacred Defense Cinema Town, emphasized the significance of the project, saying: “This series is both challenging and valuable, as it brings to light a part of history that has not yet been depicted on screen.”
