Historical-romantic series ‘Yearning’ to debut

Iranian VODs are preparing to release an original series, ‘Yearning’, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Tina Pakravan.

The historical-romantic drama will soon be added to the platform's programming lineup, though an exact release date has not yet been announced.

So far, Houtan Shakiba and Mahsa Hejazi have been confirmed as cast members, while the rest of the cast and crew remain undisclosed.

Given Tina Pakravan's reputation for producing ensemble dramas, ‘Yearning’ is expected to feature a large cast and deliver an engaging, story-rich experience.

New social drama series ‘The Convicted’ to release

The new social drama series ‘The Convicted’ is set to be released soon on Iranian VODs.

Produced by Mohammad-Reza Mansouri, known for his previous successful projects ‘Fall’ and ‘The Lost Face’, the series marks the directorial debut of Siamak Mardaneh.

The show features a script written by Mehran Mahdavian, offering a compelling story centered on social themes.

The cast of ‘The Convicted’ includes Sareh Bayat, Pejman Jamshidi, Kourosh Tahami, and Elham Korda, with notable appearances by Siamak Ansari, Esmaeel Mehrabi, and Ramin Parchami.

The series will soon be available for streaming on VOD platforms.
