'In the Eye of the Storm' star to hold masterclass in Tehran

Iranian actor Parsa Pirouzfar, renowned for his starring role in the popular iFilm series 'In the Eye of the Storm', is set to hold a masterclass in Tehran.

The two-day program, titled "The Glory of Cinema," takes place on October 20-21 at the Azadi Hotel.

Pirouzfar, a prominent figure in Iranian cinema, will share his expertise in a session focused on 'The Actor's Entry into the World of the Character'.

Pirouzfar’s performance in ‘Mom's Guests’ (2003) earned him the Crystal Simorgh for Best Supporting Actor at the Fajr International Film Festival in Iran.

The masterclass offers a unique opportunity for aspiring actors and film enthusiasts to gain insights from one of Iran's most respected performers.

The event also features other notable instructors, including Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan.

A commemoration ceremony is held during the event to honor the late Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami, who won the Palme d'Or award at the Cannes Film Festival for 'Taste of Cherry'.
