Following the recent appointment of Manouchehr Shahsavari as this year's festival director and the opening of registration, the foundation revealed that it has officially submitted eight films, either produced or co-produced with private and cultural institutions, for Iran's largest cinematic event.
Farabi hinted that additional films may be ready for submission in the coming days, broadening its contribution to the festival's diverse selection.
The list includes several notable works across genres, such as ‘The Hunter’ by Javad Afshar, ‘Esfand’ by Danesh Eqbashawi, and two documentaries— ‘People on the Other Side of the River’ by Habib Ahmadzadeh and ‘Shafa Hospital’ by Morteza Shabani.
Farabi's other titles include ‘Call Me Ziba’ by Rasoul Sadr-Ameli, ‘As You Wish’ by Morteza Atash-Zamzam, ‘The Pretext’ by Arash Moayyerian, and ‘The Electric Girl’ by Hossein Qenaat.
