The filming of new Iranian historical series 'Midnight Dream' has been wrapped up.
The final scenes for the series were filmed in the Iranian city of Abadan and the Holy Defense Cinema Town in Shahr Rey, located in Tehran Province.
A rising star in the Iranian cinema, Sogol Tahmasebi, plays the role of Atiyeh in this adaptation of Mozafar Salari's acclaimed novel.
Director Hassan Akhoundpour is now moving the project into post-production.
The series, produced by Iran's Owj Arts and Media Organization, features an ensemble cast of experienced actors, including Bahareh Afshari, Hassan Majouni, and Mah Laqa Bagheri.
Rounding out the main cast are Mohsen Ghasabian, Nasim Adabi, Saeed Sharif, Nader Soleimani, and Aida Mahiani, with additional cast members to be revealed soon.
This marks Tahmasebi's second collaboration with Akhoundpour, following her performance in 'Kufi's Love' series.
The actress has already built an impressive acting track, with roles in popular series like 'Inspector', 'Najla' and 'Gando 2'.
