Iranian doc 'Elevator' has been screened for 1,800 recovered homeless people at Tehran's Milad Tower.
The special screening was held on Tuesday, January 7, and was attended by producer Mohammad Kart, director Javad Razzaghizadeh, and the film's protagonist, Mohammad Saberi.
Razzaghizadeh shared that this screening was his vision from the first day of production, calling it "the most beautiful frame of my life."
The film, which won awards at the 18th Cinema Verite International Festival in Iran, follows a formerly homeless person who draws inspiration from a Hollywood actor's similar life journey.
Producer Kart acknowledged Mohammad Karami and Akbar Rajabi for facilitating the screening, while Saberi expressed gratitude for the large turnout.
