‘Killing the Guest’ nears completion
The historical series ‘Killing the Guest’, directed by Ahmad Kavari and produced by Kambiz Darabi, continues filming.
The 30-episode series portrays the life of Muslim ibn Aqil (AS), focusing on his journey to Kufa and the subsequent martyrdom.
The series is scheduled for release in Muharram 2025.
The cast list includes Maryam Momen as Ruqayyeh, Muslim’s wife, Hessam Manzour as Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad, Pejman Bazeghi as Yazid, Behrad Mohammadi as Muslim, and Leila Otadi as Hind.

The urban drama ‘One, Three, Seven’, directed by Manouchehr Hadi and written by Amir-Mohammad Abdi, has revealed the addition of prominent actresses, including Laya Zanganeh, Maryam Momen, Sima Tirandaz, and Rozita Ghaffari.

The new series ‘Badar’ has begun production under the direction of Sirous Hassanpour, with Rashid Hajatmand as producer.
Co-written by Fatemeh Soltani, Masoumeh Mir-Aboutalebi, and Zeinab Emaminia, the 30-episode series explores the local culture of Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan Province through the story of a Sistani family.
The cast list includes Fereshteh Sarabandi, Mohammad Rashno, Hossein Sharifi, Kaveh Khodashenas, and Reza Khodadad-Beigi.
Produced by Simafilm’s Social Productions Group, the series aims to convey messages about family, respect for local cultures, and challenges in less-developed areas.
‘Little Soldier of Imam’ gets ready
The series ‘The Little Soldier of Imam’ enters the final stages of scripting.
Directed and written by Mohammad-Baqer Mofidikia and produced by Jalil Shabani, the project adapts the memoirs of Mehdi Tahanian, as documented in a 650-page book.
The series, set in the genres of revolutionary history and sacred defense, is anticipated to face a lengthy production timeline, with filming expected to take two to three years.
