iFilm to halt airing ‘Buried Treasure 1’

iFilm English TV is to halt airing ‘Buried Treasure 1’ for a couple of days.

iFilm English TV has set to halt airing the popular comedy ‘Buried Treasure 1’ for a couple of days.

The channel will stop airing the hilarious comedy on March 19-24 as a mark of respect to the Laylat al-Qadr in the Islamic lunar month of Ramadan.

During the holy nights, the religious series ‘Charm and Plea’ is considered to be a replacement for ‘Buried Treasure 1’.

Laylat al-Qadr, rendered in English as the Night of Decree or Night of Destiny, is the night when the Quran was first sent down from Heaven to the world and also the night when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to Prophet Muhammad [PBUH].

Since that time, Muslims have regarded the last ten nights of Ramadan as being especially blessed.

Muslims believe that Laylat al-Qadr comes with blessings and mercy of God in abundance, sins are forgiven, supplications are accepted, and that the annual decree is revealed to the angels who carry it out according to God's Grace.

The ritual of Laylat al-Qadr includes keeping vigil, performing prayers and reading the Holy Quran among others.

Muslims consider the Qadr nights (supposed to fall either on the 19th, 21st, 23rd or 27th of the holy month of Ramadan) as the holiest nights of the year.
