Saeed Rad (1944 – 2024)

Veteran actor Saeed Rad passed away on August 1, just three months before his 80th birthday.

Known for his distinctive screen presence and chivalrous persona, Rad rose to fame in the 1970s with films like ‘The Infidels’, ‘Tight Spot’, and ‘The Stone Journey’.

After a long hiatus from the industry, he made a powerful comeback in ‘Duel’ (2003) and continued to captivate audiences with his roles in television and streaming productions like ‘Chamran’ and ‘In the Eye of the Storm’.

Zhaleh Olov (1926 – 2024)

Poet, voice actress, and stage legend Zhaleh Olov passed away on December 24 at the age of 97.

A pioneering figure in Iranian cinema, she was honored as one of Iran's distinguished cultural personalities in 2010.

Olov lent her voice to numerous plays and films, leaving behind a rich artistic heritage spanning decades.

Sadreddin Hejazi (1952 – 2024)
