Star of iFilm’s 'Bodyguard' returns to big screen after 4 years

Iranian actor Parastouee, widely known to iFilm fan for his powerful lead role in 'Bodyguard', is back in cinemas after a four-year break.

He stars in 'There, at the Same Time', a drama directed by Sirous Alvand that premieres on Wednesday, July 10.

The cast also includes Mahour Alvand, Shahram Haqiqatdoust, and Amirhossein Fathi.

Parastouee’s last film appearance was in 2021’s 'Without Everything' by Mohsen Gharaee.

His return is expected to draw attention from fans eager to see one of Iranian cinema’s most respected actors back on screen.

The Special Jury Award at the Fajr International Film Festival for 'The Lizard' and the Diploma of Honor at the Fajr International Film Festival for 'Leily is with Me' are some of his notable accolades.
