Lenard Larry McKelvey, known professionally as Charlamagne, criticized Trump on Fox News Channel’s 'My View with Lara Trump', hosted by Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump.
During the broadcast, Charlamagne stated that Trump’s administration failed to support low-income Americans and argued that tax breaks passed under Trump’s leadership ultimately harmed more people than they helped.
Asked how he would rate Trump’s presidency, the radio host said, “I wouldn’t give it a good rating simply because the least of us are still being impacted the worst.”
Trump responded to the remarks with a series of social media posts, calling Charlamagne derogatory names.
Charlamagne defended his comments, emphasizing that he holds all politicians accountable—regardless of party—including former U.S. president Joe Biden.
