Ilam’s Vali Castle, glorious narrative of history

Ilam’s Vali Castle is the glorious narrative of history at the heart of an architectural masterpiece.

The castle is located on the Choqa Mirag hill in the city of Ilam.

It was built about 100 years ago in the Qajar period and its area is 2,500 square meters.

The construction materials are brick, gypsum and marble.

The castle has been renovated by Iran’s Cultural Heritage Organization.

Ilam, located 710 kilometers from Tehran, is surrounded by heights covered with forests, enjoying a mild mountainous climate with very pleasant springs.
