In 'Shokraneh', Hamed’s uncle died more than thirty years ago. In his youth, he met and married a Tajik woman while studying in Germany. Hamed’s father never accepted her, and after his brother’s death, he forced her away and took back the land his brother had given her.

Decades later, weighed down by guilt, he sends Hamed to find her, but can wrongs of the past ever truly be undone?

The series features performances by Hassan Joharchi, Pouria Poursorkh, Farhad Qaemian, Maryam Kaviani, and Atefeh Razavi, under the direction of Saeed Soltani.

'Shokraneh' airs on iFilm at 22:00, 04:00, 10:00, and 16:00 GMT.
