Tehran hosts Ritual & Traditional Theater Fest

The International Ritual and Traditional Theater Festival has been inaugurated in the Iranian capital city of Tehran. 
The event opened on Saturday and attended by a number of officials, artists, and guests from Turkey and Armenia.
The opening day featured a variety of performances, including kornanavazi (traditional horn playing), shabih-khani (religious passion play), takht-hozi (traditional comic theater), naqqali (epic storytelling), kheimeh-shab-bazi (traditional puppet theater) and musical performances.
