Hind Rajab’s voice echoes at 2025 Oscars

The 2025 Oscars international feature shortlist has been unveiled with Gaza docudrama 'The Voice of Hind Rajab' among the nominees.

Its inclusion coincides with two other Palestinian-linked entries, 'Palestine 36' and 'All That's Left of You'.

 The Voice of Hind Rajab, a docudrama about Israel's killing of Hind Rajab, a five-year-old Palestinian girl, has also been nominated for the 2026 Golden Globe for Best non-English Language Film.

The film was selected as the Tunisian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards.

The cinematic work directed by Tunisian filmmaker Kaouther Ben Hania has received several critical acclaim, including winning the Venice Film Festival's prestigious Silver Lion Grand Jury Prize.

The gut-wrenching film received a 23-minute standing ovation after its premiere at the 2025 Venice film festival.
