Veteran actor of Iranian cinema, Reza Rouygari, has passed away following a heart attack.
His death was confirmed by the Iranian Cinema House Wednesday.
Rouygari began his acting career in 1969, primarily in theater.
In 1978, while performing in a play, he was contacted to perform an anthem called 'Allah, Allah' for the days of the Iranian Revolution. His song became a significant moment in his career and the country's history.
His extensive filmography includes roles in notable works such as 'The Tenants','The Eagles', 'Mokhtarnameh' and 'Innocence Lost'.
