The 44th Fadjr International Theater Festival (FITF) has wrapped up its third day in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
The Saturday program offered a rich program of 15 performances across multiple venues.
Audiences in Tehran were treated to a full slate of productions staged in the festival's main competition, street theater, and Fajr Plus sections.
The historic City Theater complex, along with Iranshahr Hall and Tehran's Howzeh Honari (Art Bureau), served as the primary hubs for the indoor stage performances.
Meanwhile, the cultural expanse of Roudaki Artistic-Cultural Foundation, located opposite the renowned Vahdat Hall, was transformed into a vibrant stage for the festival's street theaters, bringing performance art directly to public spaces.
The 44th edition of Iran's premier theater event is directed by Seyyed Vahid Fakhr Mousavi. The festival commenced with an opening ceremony in Kerman that honored winners in auxiliary categories including photography, poster design, research, playwriting, and radio drama.
It will come to an end in Tehran on February 1.
