Millions of Iranians have attended rallies on the victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
According to media reports, the huge turnout amounted to over 34 million people who showed their solidarity with the Islamic Revolution and made allegiance once again with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
Iran marked the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory on Wednesday and this year was one of the largest turnouts in recent memory.
The annual "22 Bahman" rallies mark the victory of the Islamic Revolution on February 11, 1979, when the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, led the Iranian nation to overthrow the US-backed Pahlavi monarchy and establish the revolution in Iran.
Iran's Leader has described this day as the symbol of the nation's power, dignity, and steadfastness, emphasizing that massive turnouts force the enemy to retreat from its ambitions against Iran.
