The Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has attended the awards ceremony of the 44th Fajr National Film Festival, honoring the winners of the country's most prestigious cinematic event.
The Fajr National Film Festival is held annually in February during the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations, marking the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
The festival's top prize is the Crystal Simorgh, named after the mythical bird in Persian literature. It is awarded in categories, including best film, best director, and acting accolades.
The closing event was held at Tehran’s Vahdat hall on Wednesday.
