The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the head of the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Qomi, the director of the Art Bureau Mohammad-Mehdi Dadman, several artists, documentarians, war photographers, and media activists.
The ceremony honored some distinguished participants for their contributions, including Seyyed Amir Panahpour, Mohammad-Hassan Zarifmanesh, Hassan Shirvani, Hamid Vakili, Pouria Torabi, Meqdad Madadi, Arash Sepehri, Arshia Mirzaee, Fatemeh Saranj, Donya Eskandarzadeh, Seyyed Serajeddin Hosseini, Mohammad-Reza Rahmani, Vahid Zarei, Hassan Shahabi, Fatemeh Qaedi, Fatemeh Hadipour, Reihaneh Rouhani, Leila Sadat Aqili, Seyyed Javad Mirhosseini, Mohammad-Amin Nobahar, and Mohammad-Parsa Nateqi.
The photo exhibition opened with 89 selected photos and narratives from 65 artists, including Mohsen Ranginkaman, Alireza Esmaeeli, Foad Ashtari, Zahra Ashrafi, Meraj Amani, Zeinab Tajeddin, Sahand Taki, Pouria Torabi, and Fatemeh Jabbari.
Launched in October by the Iran Photographers House, the event of ‘Life in War’ is aimed to document the lived experiences and resilience of the Iranian people during the 12-day imposed war by the US and Zionist regime.
It received widespread attention from artists, media professionals, and the general public across the country.
The event received more than 3,600 works from 668 professional artists, citizens, narrators, and youth across 23 provinces and 49 cities within 45 days.
The exhibition, which will run until March 6.
