Iranian artist pays tribute to Martyred Leader

Iranian painter and poet Ali Davoudi unveiled a new portrait of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, accompanied by a poem.

Marking the 40th day since the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Iranian painter and poet Ali Davoudi has paid tribute to the Leader by unveiling a new portrait and a poem.

The commemorative work, released via the Art Bureau of the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization, stands as a testament to the enduring bond between the late Leader and the artistic world.

Reflecting the sorrow and resilience of the nation’s artists in his poem, Davoudi characterizes the Leader’s legacy as an eternal and boundless force that transcends the constraints of time.

He portrays Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as an immortal figure whose presence remains deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, even after his martyrdom.

While numerous works have celebrated the Leader's persona over the decades, Davoudi remarked that the days following his martyrdom have sparked a localized renaissance of artistic creativity fueled by longing and devotion.

Following the US-Israeli attack on February 28 on key national facilities in Iran, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was martyred.

During another event, the 40th day after the martyrdom of the Leader was commemorated during a mourning ceremony in presence of cultural, artistic, and media figures at Vahdat Hall in Tehran on Sunday.

The event honored the memory of the esteemed martyred Leader, school students in Minab, and other people who lost their lives across the country in the attacks by the US and Israel.

At the ceremony, a group of cultural and artistic figures paid tribute to all those who were martyred during the 40-day war by reciting poems, elegies, and sharing memories.
