"Iran" joins Resistance Theater Festival

“Iran” section has been added to the 20th International Resistance Theater Festival.

The section was added to the playwriting competition of the event. This section focuses on plays about the U.S.-Israel's imposed war on Iran.  

Because of this new section, the deadline for sending plays to the competition was extended to August 11.

The 20th International Resistance Theater Festival has the slogan “Iran, the Eternal Stage of Resistance.” It is led by Mohammad Kazem-Tabar and organized by the Theater of Revolution and Sacred Defense Association and the Cultural Foundation for Revayat-e Fath.

The festival started in 2025 and will continue until September 2026 across Iran.
