Iran to hold honoring ceremony for composer Majid Entezami

Ceremony in Tehran is to celebrate renowned Iranian music maestro Majid Entezami.

Honoring ceremony is to be held for noted and widely popular Iranian music maestro Majid Entezami.

Iran’s Hozeh Honari (Artistic Center of Islamic Development Organization) will launch the event on August 15 with Iranian musicians, artists and cultural officials in attendance.

Various items are planned out for the ceremony to honor the veteran Iranian musician and composer.

“Majid Entezami is currently one of the most influential musicians of Iran who has composed more than 100 film and 10 stage music pieces,” Yazdan Ashiri, Hozeh Honari's Public Relations director was quoted by the local media as saying.

Entezami won several prizes at Fajr International Film Festival for composing music for movies such as  ‘From Karkheh to Rheine’, ‘Scent of Joseph’ and ‘The Glass Agency’.
