'The Bride of Lebanon': Iran’s daughter, Lebanon’s martyr

Iranian documentary 'The Bride of Lebanon' has completed production and entered the technicalities.

According to the public relations office of Owj Arts and Media Organization, the documentary 'The Bride of Lebanon', which tells the life of martyr Masoumeh Karbasi, has finished its production stages and is now in the final days of post-production.

This film, whose production took a year, portrays part of her life alongside her husband in the Lebanese towns of Nabatieh, Beirut and Dahieh with a human and emotional perspective.

In October 2024, during the Zionist regime’s attacks on Lebanon, she was martyred in Lebanon and is recognized as the first Iranian woman martyred on the road to al-Quds and Resistance.

'The Bride of Lebanon', directed by Mahdieh Sadat-Mehvar and produced by Ahmad Shafiei, is shaped through the memories of the couple’s five children, the martyr’s friends, her fellow fighters and their families, and seeks to present an image of love, steadfastness and the life of an Iranian family amid the days of Resistance in Lebanon.
