'Midnight' half-price for imposed war

The Iranian film 'Midnight' is set to be screened at half price in Iranian cinemas for three days, coinciding with one year since the second imposed war.

The Iranian film 'Midnight', directed by Mohammad‑Hossein Mahdavian, is set to be screened at half price in Iranian cinemas for three days, coinciding with one year since since the second imposed war.

According to the film’s public relations office, the discounted screenings will take place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, June 11–13.

The initiative coincides with June 13, the date when Israel and the United States started their aggression against Iran last year.

Moviegoers can purchase discounted tickets through online ticketing platforms and watch the film in cinemas nationwide during the three‑day period.

'Midnight' began its theatrical run on March 17, becoming the first film to voluntarily enter theaters during the third imposed war when Israel and the US invaded Iran in February 2026.

The film, produced by Tasvir Shahr Institute, has so far surpassed 90 billion rials in box office sales in Iranian cinemas.
