iFilm English TV to offer ‘The Snitch’

iFilm English TV’s movie ‘The Snitch’ is to go on air on Saturday.

iFilm English TV Channel’s feature film ‘The Snitch’ has been scheduled to go on air on November 7, 2026.

The movie, produced by Jamal Shourjeh and directed by Ahmad Kavari, will be aired on Saturday night.

‘The Snitch’ depicts events in the year 2003, when Iranian prisoners of war return to their homeland.

Among those returning is a man named Fereidoun Kiafar. In 1980, he had gone to the southern frontlines. He was restless and constantly on the move, taking part in numerous military operations before eventually being captured by Iraqi forces.

For three years, he maintained correspondence with his family. However, he suddenly turned his back on everything and joined the Iraqi side. From then on, his main activities became espionage, interrogating prisoners, informing on fellow captives, and even torturing them. After some time, he suddenly disappeared.

The prisoners believed that he had joined the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (MEK).

However, a few months earlier, Iraqi Mojahedin had discovered several secret detention centers in Iraq. Both Iraqi and Iranian prisoners had been held in the facilities. Among the Iranian prisoners was Fereidoun Kiafar. During all those years, he had been subjected to torture in Iraqi prisons. Among his injuries was severe damage to his vocal cords, leaving him unable to speak without the assistance of a special device.

His case is reopened and investigated, and a man named Mr. Yousef is assigned to review it. To uncover the truth, he tracks down and interviews several Iranian former prisoners who had been held captive alongside Kiafar.

One of them holds Kiafar responsible for the deaths of two prisoners named Moradi and Eftekhari.

Haj Sadeq, on the other hand, recalls his friendship with Kiafar and explains how Kiafar quickly broke under pressure and defected to the enemy. Nevertheless, he refuses to hate him. Even when Mashallah suggests that they should join forces and put an end to Kiafar, Haj Sadeq responds that even during their captivity, he used to pray to God to forgive Kiafar.

Meanwhile, Kiafar's family has struggled tremendously to carry on with their lives. Because of Kiafar's actions, they have constantly faced rejection, mistreatment, and hostility from those around them. Throughout all this hardship, Haj Sadeq has been the only person who has stood by them and offered his support.

The cast list of the includes Amir Jafari, Mohammad Kasbi, Mehran Rajabi, Siavash Kheirabi, Amir-Reza Delavari, Aliram Nouraee, Nasrin Moqanlou, Qasem Zare and Ramin Rastad.

‘A Piece of Bread’, made in 2009, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00.
