Iranian Film Week to launch in China alongside Beijing Int’l Book Fair

Iranian Film Week in China is to launch with the concurrent presence of Iran at 24th Beijing International Book Fair.

A total of six films are slated to be screened at the event, a local media report said on Thursday, adding this is part of the various events scheduled by Iran as Guest of Honor at the Beijing Book Fair 2017.    

The select films include Iran Oscar-winning ‘The Salesman’ as well as ‘Track 143’, ‘Shirin’, ‘Rabidity’ 'Jamehdaran (Revelation)' and ‘Me’.

The 24th Beijing International Book Fair runs August 23-27, 2017.

“As the Country of Honor of 2017 Beijing International Book Fair（BIBF）, Iran will bring us a cultural feast with the slogan of "Iran--The Colorful Dream of Silk Road," a media release published on the China-based book fair read.
