Iran animation ‘Ascribed Achievements’ to be screened at 3 int’l filmfests

3 international film festivals are to screen Iran animation ‘Ascribed Achievements’.

Iranian animation ‘Ascribed Achievements’ directed by Samaneh Shojaie has been scheduled to be screened at 3 international film festivals.

In the first step, the Iranian animation will take part in the 4th edition of Montreal International Animation Film Festival. 160 Animation short films from 60 countries are to attend the event. The festival is slated for August 17-20, 2017, Canada.

In the second step, ‘Ascribed Achievements’ will participate in the 13th edition of Busho Animation Film Festival. In this event 75 short film directors are to compete in 8 sections for 3 main awards. The festival will be held from August 29 to Septamber 4, 2017, Hungary.

Finally, The Iranian animation joins the 15th edition of Fantoche International Animation Film Festival. In this event 67 animations are to be screened in both competition section and non-competition section of the event. The festival is slated for Septamber 5-10, 2017, Switzerland.

 The animation, which is a new experience with grotesque narration and real images, tells the story of an old boy, who is dissatisfied with his inborn appearance and decides to end his life. But his failed suicide leads to a new situation in his life.
