42nd Toronto Int’l filmfest to screen Iran movie

42nd Toronto Int’l filmfest to screen Iran movie ‘Simulation’

Iran movie ‘Simulation’ directed by Abed Abest is scheduled to be screened at Toronto International Film Festival.

‘Simulation’ is Abed Abest’s first Feature Film to participate for the first time at Toronto International Film Festival.

The film’s synopsis reads, a young boy decides to hang out with his friends for the night. They visit someone they already know, but their melancholic soiree leads to surprising, weird events. Overwhelmed in the highs and lows of the story, the audience is overwhelmed by a paramount visual and audio experience. The combination of the two strategies is characteristic of one of Iran’s most playful movies of the recent years.

Among the film’s cast are Abd Abest himself, as well as Vahid Raad, Majid Yousefi and Daniel Khojasteh.

The 42nd Toronto International Film Festival is slated for 7-17 September, 2017.

The event is one of the largest publicly attended film festivals in the world, attracting over 480,000 people annually
