‘Kupal’ to be Asia’s only representative at US filmfest

Iran movie, ‘Kupal’, has been selected as Asia’s only representative to be screened at the 10th edition of Arizona Underground Film Festival in the US.

In its 6th international presence, ‘Kupal’ will be screened in the competition section of Arizona Underground Film Festival.

Every year Arizona Underground Film Festival screens works by filmmakers who have independent views.

In this year’s event 14 feature films in different genres including narrative, horror, documentary, experimental, animation from Britain, Canada, Palestine, Spain, America, and Iran will be screened.

‘Kupal’ narrates the story of Dr. Ahmad Kupal, who is a taxidermist hunter, as he faces a challenge just before the New Year.

The main cast in “Kupal” is Levon Haftvan,  A smart dog named Sharon, also plays a key role in the movie.

Leon Haftouan, Nazanin Farahani, Pourya Rahimi Sam, Hossein Shamsabadi are among the notable cast of the series.

The 10th edition of Arizona Underground Film Festival will be held on September 15-23, 2017 in Arizona, US.
