Iran director Homayoun Asadian’s film ‘A Special Day’ goes into a home release.

The flick was distributed across Iranian cities since Tuesday and to the Iranian capital city of Tehran on Wednesday.

‘A Special Day’ features actors such as Farhad Aslani, and Mostafa Zamani as well as actress Parinaz Izadyar. The movie is about a young man and the important decision he must make for his sister’s upcoming surgery.

The home version of the film includes special short video footage from behind the scenes of the film.

A Special Day’ was among films hitting the silver screen during the holidays for the Persian New Year in March 2017.

“The theme of ‘A Special Day’ is decision-making and choosing. This is what I think about every day; where I am now is the result of the choices I made about two years ago. So, my own experiences with a bit of change,” Asadian said to ifilm.
