Iran film ‘Kupal’ to vie in Colombia film festival

Iranian film ‘Kupal’ has been selected to compete at the Bogotá International Film Festival (BIFF) in Colombia.

The 34th edition of the BIFF will screen Kazem Mollaee’s ‘Kupal’ against other nominees in the competition section of the festival to be held in October.

The BIFF remains one of the most famous film festivals of the world, held every year in October in Bogotá, Colombia.

‘Kupal’ narrates the story an MD who is also a hunter and taxidermist. On the eve of the Persian new year, Nowruz, a challenging situation transpires that changes his life path.

The main cast in “Kupal” is Levon Haftvan,  A smart dog named Sharon, also plays a key role in the movie.

The 34th edition of the Bogotá International Film Festival will take place in late October.
