Bolivia festival honors trio of Iranian films

Three Iranian films have been awarded on the sidelines of the La Paz International Film Festival in Bolivia.

Iranian film ‘Sandbad and Sara’ by Ferial Behzad received the best feature film award from the 4th edition of the festival, which was held in the South American city of La Paz recently.

The best short film award went to ‘My Share of Blue Sky’ by Mohammad Basiri, while ‘Without Eve’ won the best short screenplay award for its writer Komeil Rohani, who is also the director of the movie.

The three films were screened along with 14 other Iranian films in a section dedicated to Iran’s cinema.

Meanwhile, the festival bestowed the best documentary film award to ‘Islenos, a Root of America’ by Eduardo Cubillo Blasco from Spain.
