Doc on Polish refugees in Iran to compete in US film festival

Iranian director Narges Kharaghani’s film will compete in the documentary feature section of the ‌16th edition of the Great Lakes International Film Festival in the US state of Pennsylvania this month.

Kharaghani has previously made short films, with ‘Madame’ being the first documentary feature from the Iranian director.

The 16th edition of the Great Lakes International Film Festival features films in various genres, including short, long, documentary, experimental, religious and animated sections.

The doc focuses on Polish refugees who came to Iran well over 70 years back.
